Upon your arrival you will be greeted by complimentary hors d'ouvres and a bottle of wine or sparkling cider (upon request), day passes from the renowned Spa on the Plaza in downtown Monterey, Scheid Wine tasting room passes in downtown Carmel, and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is at your disposal to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, plush spa bathrobes, slippers, over-sized towels and beach gear.

Sit on the comfortable white couch or in the two white swivel chairs and enjoy a casual fireside dinner on rattan nesting tables. If you prefer more formal dining, six can be seated at an elegant rectangular glass table with patterned metal chairs ornamented with rams' heads. An enormous mirror with an intricately carved wooden headpiece suggestive of Morocco overlooks the dining table.
The great room's wall of glass imparts the feeling that there is no separation between the interior and the courtyard, lush with flowering plants, hedges and ferns. Sip your coffee in the morning or toast your happiness at sunset at an outdoor table and chairs.
The light-splashed soothing gray kitchen with its washed-wood floors and stainless steel appliances has a sleek, uncluttered styling that is contemporary, cozy and calming. Everything you need for preparing romantic gourmet meals is provided, including an extensive collection of beautiful dishware, serving pieces and accouterments to set a table that will make every meal special.
The glass wall in the spacious bedroom allows you to lounge in the king-sized bed -- appointed with a zebra-patterned duvet, throw pillows and luxury linens -- and drink in the garden views, both during the day or at night, when dramatic outdoor lighting turns the courtyard into a fantasy land. Furnishings include an antique armoire housing the sound system for the living room and bedroom, two comfortable chairs and an inlaid-wood marble-topped dresser.

This secluded sanctuary is located in a premier neighborhood just a few blocks from the ocean, a half mile from the Carmel Mission, Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch Inn with its pastoral views, exuberant piano-bar sing-a-longs and renowned brunches. It is an easy walk to downtown Carmel with its many shops, galleries and restaurants. Everything is provided for you should you decide to have a day at the beach, just a few short blocks away.
There is off street parking. There is no washer and dryer but arrangements can be made to have your clothes cleaned and returned to you. There is a TV, DVD player and a sound system in the master bedroom that plays beautiful music throughout the house.
