Guest Comment
"This was a great location for a week by the ocean. You don't really hear the ocean, because you are in the bay and there are no waves, but you will hear the gulls! The yellow cottage has a small efficiency kitchen which is great if you don't want to run out to breakfast every day. This is a quiet town and did not seem "touristy" even in mid July. Make sure you join the Monterey Aquarium so you can go every day. (You can walk from the cottage) On weekends, that enables you to go early, stay late and have the place to yourself. You really don't want to be there with the crowds. It is an amazing place! Also, do not miss the Ice Cream shop on Lighthouse Ave in the middle of town. It contains an amazing Beatle museum and great ice cream. The best meal to be had is at the FISHWIFE. Go at lunch when you can get a seat. We rented bikes at Lover's Point and rode all the way there."
