Don't let the unpretentious exterior deceive you, surprised and delight await when you enter this newly remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath house. Everything about it is first-class, from the location -- just a short walk to the ocean and the Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula Country Club golf courses – to the gorgeous interior spaces with their elegant yet comfortable décor.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine or sparkling cider, passes to the famous Spa on the Plaza in Monterey, tickets for a Scheid Winery tasting in Carmel-by-the-Sea, and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, plush bathrobes and oversized towels.
You will feel like you've been dropped into paradise as this house, with its 11,000 sq. ft. lot, comes into view. The neighborhood is secluded and quiet with a large undeveloped tree-studded lot across the street. World-class AT&T golf courses are nearby. You can walk a trail through Spyglass Hill Golf Course to the ocean and Bird Rock, one of the best-known landmarks in Pebble Beach.
This spacious dwelling, which can easily accommodate 8 (or more in portable beds), is classy, stylish and carefully thought out. Earth tones combine with ocean blues in a sophisticated palette. Living spaces and bedrooms have hardwood floors.
The brick-red front door opens to a living room with a wood-burning adobe semi-circular fireplace, painted chocolate brown. A convertible queen sleeper-sofa provides cozy seating for relaxing conversation or reading a book in front of a toasty fire. Enjoy games or casual meals at a glass table with 4 rattan chairs at the opposite end of the room.
The great room is precisely that – a great room for entertaining. It is a stunner with a chef's dream kitchen with top-grade stainless steel appliances, dark wood cabinets, gray granite counter-tops and a granite-topped island with a 6-burner gas stovetop and 4 leather stools. A stand-alone bar is stocked with beautiful glassware. Handsome cobalt-blue blown-glass pendant lamps illuminate the island and the bar. Elegant meals can be served at a 6-foot Starfire beveled glass table with seating for 8-10. Built-in glass-fronted dark-wood cabinetry in the living area is amply stocked with beautiful dinnerware, serving pieces and table linens to accommodate large gatherings. A large sectional sofa in a dusty blue-green, an oval dark-wood coffee table and an area rug in front of the gas-kindled wood-burning fireplace offer the perfect setting for intimate conversation.
French doors open to a pet-friendly fenced-in back yard landscaped with ferns and drought-tolerant native plants. Outdoor meals can be prepared on a gas grill and enjoyed at a glass table and chairs for 6.
The master bedroom features a cocoa-colored king wing-back bed in earth tones and blues, mirrored closets, a ceiling fan and walnut dresser and night stands. French doors open to a small deck and the back yard. The master bath has gray granite counters and floors, 2 vanities, stainless steel fixtures and a glass-enclosed, walk-in shower with granite walls and pebble-tiled floor.
An ocean-themed 2nd bedroom to the back of the house has twin beds (that can convert to a king with Memory Foam topper), a sky blue patterned quilt, a comforter, luxury linens and mirrored closets. A 3rd bedroom with a tan, taupe and blue color scheme also has 2 twins that convert to a king with foam Topper and lots of closets. A 2nd bathroom with white tiles, white cabinetry and speckled black granite counter-tops has a tub with shower.
A double-car garage is available for parking; additional cars can be parked in the driveway.

“Casa Amorosa Pacifico
The home we rented for a week at Pebble Beach was exactly what we were looking for. The house was clean and well stocked with whatever we needed. The rooms were large and well furnished. The great room had a perfect area for our dog, who had his own area we fenced in for him. The yard was also great for the dog--well fenced and simply landscaped. The location was within blocks for 17 mile drive. We walked along the beach daily. We were very satisfied with the service we received from Sanctuary Vacation Rentals--they were attentive and very responsive. We would love to return sometime soon.”

“Great Family Getaway
There are so many good things to say. Beautiful house. Short walk to the beach. Excellent kitchen. Well furnished. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. The only downside was that the house had only two bathrooms. Three would have made showers in the morning more convenient.”

This is the third time I have rented this house and am looking forward to the next time I am able to rent it again. This house works very well for a small group on a holiday golfing trip.”

“Wonderful Family Vacation
We absolutely loved the house. The large family room, kitchen, bar area was perfect for gathering. They have everything a person could possibly need for entertaining. The kitchen was soooo well equipped. We enjoyed making dinners and spending time together for my father’s 80th birthday. Completely updated! Loved walking to the beach.”

“Can’t Wait To Go Back.
This vacation rental had a great back yard for my small dog. No cracks he could escape from. The well stocked kitchen was an extra special touch that was enjoyed. Every pot, pan, glass or piece of silverware was greatly appreciated and used. A comfortable bed and couch to snuggle up on. The BBQ was clean and lined with foil for easy clean up.
Location, location, location, the aquarium, a round of golf and a late night stroll to the beach, then back to watch the Olympics on a big TV above the gas fireplace. Ah can't wait to rent again.......”

“Great Experience, Helpful Host
We had a great experience staying at the Vaquero rental. The place itself was spotless clean, and had everything we needed. Pebble Beach is beautiful as always, we were 5 mins away to the beach.
Our host Lisa was really helpful and went out of her way to help me locate a bag that I had accidentally left behind.”

“A Six Star Review
What a beautiful home, well decorated in every room. We spent most of our time in the Great Room. If you love to cook, the kitchen has everything that you need plus more. Our pups enjoyed the enclosed yard and their fancy dog bowls. The home is located on a quiet street and setting and a short walking distance to the ocean. A special thanks to Liz who called several times to make sure that we were comfortable. Thank you for the wine, appetizers and the biscotti. What a nice welcome.”

“Very Nice Getaway On The Monterey Peninsula
This is a very nice home for a getaway and for entertaining, especially on the inside. We stayed for one month and did not want to leave. From the house, it is a 5 min walk to the beach that has walking trails. We encountered many Deer as we were walking and a few came up to the house on occasion. Also from the house, you can hear the waves and the sea otters calling in the morning and evening. The house is also a 5 minute drive from everywhere (Pacific Grove, downtown Monterey, downtown Carmel) and about 10 min drive inland to Carmel Valley and Seaside. Our dog (Simba) was also very pleased with the property. Two sliding glass doors left one foot open allowed him to go play in the back yard when he wanted. The place is equipped with everything. More than enough kitchen utensils and all the wine accessories. Beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. The library has some very good books for reading and the family room has comfortable seating everywhere. The media center is also a big plus if you want to just sit and watch TV or listen to music for awhile. The management company was very attentive and checked on us periodically to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Liz was very friendly. We recommend this house and this location for a family vacation or other getaway.”

“Relaxing And Very Comfortable Home
Everything you need and more is in this beautiful home. Great kitchen if you love to cook, and all the pots, pans, dish ware of high quality. We were contacted immediately with confirmation if reservations. A follow call was made to make sure we had everything we needed. Greeting us, a nice cheese appetizer, a good bottle of wine and a bagful of biscottis. Our two Yorkies enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We will return.”
