You will enjoy panoramic views of Monterey Bay from multiple rooms in this 1-story, mid-century Pacific Grove home called “Seadance”. Natural beauty surrounds this 1350 square feet, 3-bedroom, 2-bath house, just a stones throw from a gorgeous 15-mile coastal walking trail.

The entry has a covered porch, where you can enjoy morning coffee or sunset cocktails while basking in the 180-degree panorama. The front yard is landscaped with succulents and natives - including the electric-pink ground-cover that flourishes in the area.

The sliding-glass front door opens to a living room with a wall of windows, hardwood floors and a brick gas fireplace. An ocean-inspired color scheme of blues and greens, handsome mid-century modern teak furnishings and Asian accents can be found throughout the house.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complementary wine and cheese, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear.

Relax and take in the vistas from a cozy grouping of living room furnishings that include a cream sofa, 2 contemporary upholstered chairs, a teak coffee table and a sea-blue area rug. A 50” flat-screen TV over the fireplace allows you to simultaneously enjoy a warm fire, entertainment and ocean views. A Blu-Ray DVD player and a video library are provided.

Off the living room and down a step is a comfortable family room with a brick-colored painted floor covered by a multi-colored rag rug. A unique teak bench -- 2 chairs with cushions adjoined by a table - is situated in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting you to sit and gaze out at the bay, lose yourself in a good novel or enjoy a conversation. A library of books, games and binoculars are provided. Washer and dryer are located in this room as well.

A bright, efficient kitchen with white cabinets and coral tile provides everything you need for preparing gourmet meals, including a range with induction burners, refrigerator, dishwasher and various small appliances. Beautiful dishes, glassware, table linens and accoutrements allow for elegant entertaining.

The adjacent dining room has a mid-century modern teak table that can seat up to 8 and upholstered chairs.

The master bedroom, with stunning ocean views from corner windows, has a teak king bed that is positioned to take full advantage of the vista. Furnishings include teak cubicle book shelves filled with books and shells, a dresser, 2 teak bedside tables and a double closet with mirrored doors. The master bath has a small tiled shower.

A 2nd bedroom, also with ocean views features a queen with a teak bed frame, a coral coverlet and sea-inspired duvet cover and teak bedside tables.

A 2nd bathroom, in the same colors, has a bath with shower.

The 3rd bedroom has 2 twins with teak bed frames that can be converted to a king with Memory Foam topper and a TV on a teak dresser.

An outside area at the rear of the home is completely fenced has outdoor dining for 6 and a gas grill.

One car can be parked in the single car garage where you can also find everything you need for outings to the beach. Two cars can park in the driveway and additional street parking is available in front of the house.

"Great ocean view, comfortable older home with front porch! Very relaxing one level clean older home with nice front porch to enjoy the awesome views of the ocean/Monterey Bay. Comfortable beds. Great walking trails across the street along the ocean and to Lover's Point one way and the golf course the other way. We walked to the Farmer's Market, Caledonia Park for the kids, and delicious Pepper's Restaurant in Pacific Grove. Very close to Pacific Grove golf links which has a restaurant as well. We enjoyed sitting on the sofa and at the dining room table looking out at the ocean. Nice fireplace and extra study/laundry room. All and all it was a great home to rent other than the very spotty WIFI connection which was not very reliable." (Fixed now! SVR Mgmt)

"Perfect seaside getaway! Okay... I'm almost reluctant to write this review because I don't want everyone to know how absolutely perfect it is as I definitely want to return next year and not have to fight for a date! LOL The location is perfect - I sat out on the porch drinking wine while watching dolphins, whales, seals and otters. The sunset on the last evening was magnificent. The fresh, crisp sea air is invigorating. The house itself is very cute and comfortable. Sure - it's older and has some quirks but it's well-maintained, super clean and has everything you could want for a peaceful - or adventurous - getaway. So much to do in the area - or do nothing at all and just watch over the tranquil ocean. The one-story design and walk-in shower in the master bedroom was perfect for my 88 year old father with mobility issues. I highly recommend this property!:)"

"Beautiful, everything we expected. Our 40th Anniversay couldn't have been better. From the moment you walk in, you feel the luxury of the decor, but at the same time feel so warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable, plenty of added touches for comfort. Kitchen was a bit outdated, but had all the tools needed to cook whatever we wanted with ease. Waking up in the morning to find the most unique options, coffee on the front porch watching the ocean waves or walking across the small street to a beautiful beach & cove filled with wildlife, tide pools, seashells and sea glass. Only the lucky get to experience this. At night you will see families of deer snacking on vegetation on the beach, something you don't see often. We really felt one week was just not enough, so we will be back for more bike riding, beach combing, and the beautiful life in this home. We plan to make this our favorite place to rent when we come to Pacific Grove. The only thing I would add to this house....a hot tub. The stars at night from the back yard would be a show in itself."

"We loved our house in Monterey. It was just across the street from the ocean with trails that went for miles. It was so fun to sit on the front porch and watch people go by on the trail. The first night we were there, we had our complimentary bottle of wine on the porch and watched the military personnel do their running on the trail. It was so cool! Although, it made me almost feel guilty, almost. The house was well stocked. It was a little cool outside, so the fireplace was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal. We drove to a store just a couple miles away to buy groceries for the few days stay and had a great time cooking in the kitchen. Although, we really didn't have to cook for ourselves because there are several great restaurants nearby. The decor is so professionally done, I was a little nervous about accidents. But we used the coasters provided and tried to be neat and it turned out to be a great time. We would definitely go back."

Incredibly Relaxing Views! This house was so well-maintained & appointed. Perfect for our Annual Family Gathering! The view on the front porch sold it for me and it looked much better when I was actually standing on the porch with my glass of wine and a sunset. The house was very comfy and had everything we needed. We loved that it was across the beach so our kids went tide pooling at low tide - instant playground!! even with high tide they still enjoyed it. The house is also a flat 15 min ride to the aquarium (another bonus)! The only reason why I didnt give a 5 star rating is that the beds were super soft so my husband and I, my mother n law and brother in law complained of back aches when they woke up. I wish the beds were firmer. Other than that, everything else was perfect!!

Love, love, loved it!!” We wanted a place where we could stay with our children that was close to Lover's Point Park. The reason for the trip was for my "now husband" and I to get married in Pacific Grove and share a few days with our children and parents. Perfect for our family reunion.”We were looking for a spot to spend some time with family from Arizona and Minnesota. We're from Northern California, and found the perfect spot here. Delightful Rental - We will come back! Planned a Family gathering to celebrate 3 birthdays and this home exceed our expectations! The outside looks old, but the inside is delightful, fresh and cute. We relaxed for several hours each day, walked the nearby beach trails, and even saw whales pass by three days in a row while sitting on the front porch! The house is well stocked with everything you might need and is very comfortable. The three bedrooms are nicely done, and the "extra" room with the blowup bed was cute as well. I highly recommend this rental for a special gathering. It's close to restaurants, stores and minutes to Monterey. The property management company went out of their way to get our two day aquarium passes to us for an early arrival so we could spend our first entire day there. We stayed for 3 nights and will stay a week next time!

Seadance, A Stay Not To Be Missed! One of the most enjoyable coastal stays we have had. Seadance was warm, inviting, well-maintained, and clean. The view was spectacular; it was so enjoyable waking up to the view. Enjoyed Seadance so much that we cancelled dinner reservations. We made dinner in, played family games, and enjoyed time relaxing by the fireplace. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the front porch watching the waves was wonderful. Fab-u-lous! Great location, great home and fabulous stay all round. Seadance is a comfortable home in a great location and highly recommended. The welcome wine and crackers is a great touch, as are the passes to Scheid wine tasting in Carmel. The weather was wonderful and we sat on the verandah and saw whales! Seadance, A Stay Not To Be Missed!! Absolutely the best coast stay ever! Warm, inviting, well-maintained and clean with a view to remember. Our family Christmas was one our grandsons will remember for a long time. We enjoyed Seadance so much that we decided to skip eating out, make light dinners, play family games, and relax by the fireplace. Hard To Beat! Seadance is wonderful! Each year we rent a house with some goods friends with the bar set quite high as houses rented the previous two years in Wales and Scotland were exceptional. Seadance exceeded our expectations! While the house is comfortable and well equipped, its the location that's the charm. We sat on the front porch watching the sea otters and seals, including Sammy the Seal who laid on a rock right in front of the house. He appeared to be on vacation as well. Day trips are world class, while exploring the immediate area, Point Pinos Lighthouse, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Doc's title pool, was great fun. The teenage kids, when not day tripping, spent their time longboarding and rock climbing. All-in-all, we had a great time and highly recommend Seadance.

Seadance Is A Great Vacation Spot! We had a wonderful week at Sea Dance. The views are spectacular and we had everything we could have possibly needed for the entire week from linens, to dishes, to entertainment (TV, BlueRay, grill, games, beach gear, etc.), and more! We saw otters, sea lions, deer, and watched some beautiful sunsets from our front porch. The location is convenient to shopping as well as downtown Pacific Grove. The area has so much to offer in terms of recreation. We enjoyed the Aquarium, beaches, shopping, horseback riding, restaurants, and just relaxing in the living room and enjoying the view. A Great Stay In Pacific Grove! Wonderful location overlooking the Monterey Bay! The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The owners gave a lot of thought and care in providing all the amenities to make you feel right at home. It was a memorable vacation getaway.

Way Better Than A Hotel! We were in town for our daughter's graduation. There were 7 of us before family from out of state drove in to be with us! We needed a place to host, feed and unwind without the separation inherent from a hotel stay. This modest home in Pacific Grove met our every need and provided an excellent meeting place for guests after the graduation. From the comfort of the living area, the view of the Bay, and the privacy of bedrooms, to the thoughtful detail in providing the necessities and comforts of home - this was a real surprise and a great pleasure!

Unbelievable Vacation Rental! Seadance was amazing! The pictures did not do it justice - we had a phenomenal family vacation. Kim, our property manager, made sure every little detail was taken care of. We cannot say enough good things about Seadance. We will definitely keep this property in mind for the future.

Seadance Vacation. The overall stay was awesome. I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone. There were only two issues I had and they are minor. I could not find any dish towels anywhere. And the shorter sofa is terrible. The back cushions went right through the back every time I sat down.

Owner's Response: We are so glad this guest took the time to respond about their stay and especially to hear that their overall stay was 'awesome'. :) We want to let them and you all know that we have replaced the sofa - it was a really cool mid-century piece that had been well-cared for and refurbished/recovered, BUT not the all-time-most-comfortable piece of furniture for lounging! The living room sofas have been replaced with really comfy couches with white slipcovers that compliment the beachy theme really well. We hope that will add to the comfort of all of our future guests. Also, friendly reminder to all guests: If you have any issues we want to hear about them DURING YOUR STAY! so we can take care of your needs right away (like no kitchen towels! Seadance March 2014. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if the queen and twin beds were replaced and the smaller sofa was made to be more safe and comfortable. The queen and twin beds were fairly uncomfortable and very creaky - so loud that we awoke every time we rolled over! The small living room sofa offers no back support - the cushions push out the back as their is no means to hold them in. We believe there are termites or wood beetles coming through the baseboard in the twin room on the wall with the tv on it, midway between the ends of the beds (a small hole about an inch off the ground in the baseboard with sawdust-like material on the floor below it). Despite reading the DVD directions we were unable to use it because we received a message that a cable was disconnected - we chose not to call for assistance as watching movies wasn't important during our stay. Kim Crozier was truly wonderful. We were able to check in a few hours early and check out a few hours late - this was greatly appreciated! And she checked in on us during our stay. I received a call that our check out was Sunday and the cleaning gal would be there at noon, although in reality our check out was on Monday. Awesome view! Sitting on the porch watching the waves roll in - priceless! Overall a beautiful stay.

Owner's Response: We really appreciate that this guest took the time to write a detailed review and we want them and everyone to know the issues that were addressed from their review. 1) Two new, comfortable and attractive sofas have been purchased and placed in the home. While we loved the mid-century styling of the old sofas, we recognize that they were not as comfortable for lounging. The new ones look so fresh with their white, washable slipcovers! They make for a great conversation area around the fireplace and looking out those fabulous ocean view windows. 2) The twin beds and the queen bed all have new, yummy memory foam mattress toppers for added comfort. Get ready for a great night's sleep the plush toppers on these beds! Also, friendly reminder to all guests - if you have ANY issues we want to hear about them DURING YOUR STAY! so we can address them immediately (like the cable TV that seemed to need re-setting) as it is our policy to care for any issues as soon as possible and with as little inconvenience to our guests as possible. There is a stunning ocean view from the main room, with floor to ceiling windows. 2 of the 3 bedrooms also have amazing views. Everything is set up for you, including a welcome cheese plate and a bottle of wine. Kim, our hostess, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to accommodate our every request. This home is ideal for a family or friends, with a terrific kitchen, sweet patio, bbq grill, and lots of lounging space. With the ocean across the street and a walking path that takes you all of the way to the Monterey Bay aquarium at your service, it's an idyllic location for whatever you want to do. Gorgeous Location For The Perfect Family Weekend! We loved everything about our stay at this beach house. The views are incredible but the small details by the owners made it so enjoyable. Vacation Location and house was great. The only problem was, very small master bathroom and the three cushion couch, the pillows kept falling through the back of the couch. There is no support for the pillows, like on the other couch.

Turkeys, Whales, Dolphins, and Otters! The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. It was like visiting the home of an old friend, just a cool vibe in the house. We celebrated an early Thanksgiving at Seadance. It seems the whales, otters, and dolphins heard about our sea-oiree and decided to make an appearance. We woke to the sounds of rolling waves and that lazy seal who seemed content to laze in the sun all day and watch the most incredible view-much as we were! Seadance is our new vacation home!

Absolutely Delightful! Absolutely delightful home for accommodations at Monterey Peninsula. You just can't beat sitting on the porch, sipping wine and watching the waves and animal life just a few yards away. The wonderful sights, sounds, and smells stimulate the senses. The house is fully equipped and very comfortable! Sanctuary Rentals was great to work with. Looking forward to another visit.

What A View! A great home with an outstanding view! We were very happy with this property and hope that it is available for our trip next year. The house was very comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed. Kim the property manager was always available and great to work with. The homes location makes it very accessible to downtown PG and beyond. The best part was just sitting on the porch with a beverage after a "tough" day of golf. We felt like celebrities as everyone waved from their cars as they passed by. I can highly recommend this property!
