This generous 4 bedroom, 3 bath, single-story, ranch-style home features two master bedroom suites as well as plenty of space for guests to stretch out and relax. This single-level home is ideally suited for friends or couples who golf, being just minutes by car from superb courses and driving range of Pebble Beach®.

Sanctuary in the Oaks is a 5-minute drive to the restaurants and galleries of Carmel-by-the-Sea, a half hour from the village of Big Sur, and 10 minutes to shopping and dining in Pacific Grove or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row.

Plentiful windows, new flooring and new furnishings enhance the 2,570-square-foot residence, which is dog-friendly and has a fully fenced outdoor dog run.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complementary wine and cheese, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear.

The home’s living room and family room share a double-sided gas fireplace, with comfortable couches and chairs offering places for conversation and contemplation. The living room side features a beautiful Carmel stone surround for the fireplace, while on the family room side, whitewashed brick covers the fireplace and hearth. The family room also contains a 50-inch HDTV as well as a large wooden table for various activities or to sit back and enjoy the view.

The kitchen features a black-and-white tile backsplash, bay window at the sink, pendant lights, and new appliances, including a gas range and convection oven. An adjacent formal dining room seats up to 8.

French doors lead to the wood deck that overlooks a green belt area beyond the property, with outdoor seating and a gourmet gas grill, and is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, barbecues in the afternoon or a glass of wine in the evening.

There are master bedroom suites on either end of the house. The first spacious master suite has large closets and a window seat overlooking the oaks. A seating area includes a flat screen TV mounted over a corner electric fireplace, a love seat and a chair. The en suite bath includes a tiled shower with pebble floor and a large mirror.

Down the hall are two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins that convert to a king bed with foam topper as well as a 32-inch HDTV. These bedrooms share a bath with a tub/shower combo, double sinks, large vanity and mirror and spacious storage.

The second master suite includes two twin beds that convert to a king with foam topper, and a 40“ HDTV and an en suite bath with double sinks and a shower.

A laundry room contains a washer and dryer. The garage has space for two vehicles and there is also parking in the driveway.

"Pure tranquility! We stayed here for about 7 weeks while we were waiting for our new home to be finished. We walked our dogs and met all of the neighbors including the deer. I enjoyed bbq while watching a dozen fat redheaded woodpeckers working the trees. The tranquility was wonderful. Enjoying the view out back while faintly hearing the ocean in the distance with an occasional seal lion voice.
