A peaceful hideaway nestled in the trees offers not only a quiet retreat, but also easy access to the acclaimed tourist destinations of Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach, where superb shopping, golfing and dining await.

The 1,050-square-foot modern Craftsman-style home is perfect for three couples or a family, with a fenced back yard that’s an ideal gathering place for barbecues, socializing and relaxing; pets are also welcome here.

Interiors in warm tones of gray, rust and sea blue enhance the serene theme, with designer touches throughout and a carefully thought-out floor plan that includes doors from each bedroom leading to outside seating areas, where guests can meditate and reconnect with nature.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in a quiet neighborhood is just a few minutes away by car from Asilomar State Beach and the Monterey Recreation Trail, or 10 minutes away from golfing and sightseeing in Pebble Beach, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, 15 minutes from charming Carmel-by-the-Sea, and just a 40-minute drive to the spectacular views of Big Sur.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine or sparkling cider, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear.

A striking arbor and tall trees give this home a unique appearance from the street. The front door opens into a cozy living room, an ideal place to gather and relax in front of a gas fireplace, or to watch a 32-inch HDTV from comfortable couches.

The nearby sunny kitchen with granite counter-tops, tile floor and alder cabinets offers updated stainless steel appliances, including a chef-quality five-burner gas stove. Next to the kitchen is a dining area with a table that seats six.

French doors from the kitchen lead to a backyard deck with patio seating that overlooks a freshly landscaped back yard, the perfect spot for enjoying coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. A gourmet gas grill is also available for barbecuing.

The Master bedroom features an HDTV and access to the back deck. The master bath includes a custom tiled shower for two with adjustable shower-head, marble vanity and dual sinks.

The two guest bedrooms share a bath with a polished limestone vanity and a tub/shower combination with adjustable shower head. All three bedrooms feature ceiling fans, luxury bedding and wooden headboards, as well as artwork of local coastal views.

Two bedrooms feature queen beds while the master bedroom suite offers a king-size bed and built-in window seat.

Parking for one vehicle is available in the garage, which also offers ample storage space for beach gear and other items, and a washer and dryer. Additional parking is available on the street.

"House was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, and close to local attractions. Property management provided a welcoming check in process and we were greeted with a bottle of wine, cheese, and crackers. The house would be comfortable for a small family, but was a bit crowded in the common areas for 4 adults and a toddler (house is not the most kid friendly with multi level decks outside and lots for little hands to get in to). Kitchen was modern and well stocked, which was nice for cooking meals during evenings in. We did have an incident with smoke alarms chirping on our last night, but management was apologetic. Check in time was 4:00 pm (later than most hotels) and check out was 10:00 am- although early, worked for us (we were able to avoid crowds at the aquarium earlier in the day). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property."

"BEAUTIFUL STAY!  The property is just as you described. The accommodations were great for our group of 4 adults. We used this as a "place to sleep"...but explored the area around as this is VERY centrally located to Monterey and Carmel as well as Pacific Grove. So much better than a hotel because you get the "homey" atmosphere and you have such privacy...this home is very well stocked and beautifully decorated! It is in a really nice neighborhood. Very quiet street not a lot of traffic and we felt very safe! We used UBER [even though we had a car] to avoid having to "park" everywhere and I would recommend that! We found many great restaurants, beaches and shopping all very close!"
