Welcome to Sea Dream! Home sleeps up to 6 adults. **This is a strictly NON-SMOKING home**

Walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium from this outstanding location.

Sweeping views of the Monterey Bay and surrounding hills can be seen from the enclosed front porch of this historic Pacific Grove bungalow, with waves, whales, and fishing boats during the day and twinkling city lights at night.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home retains its historic character on the outside, but inside, it’s been recently completely remodeled and refurbished with a mid-century modern look and original artwork. High ceilings framed with crown molding give a spacious feel to the rooms, enhanced by the home’s large windows facing the bay.

The pet-friendly residence, known as the Mrs. Alice Lee house, was originally built in 1892 and has been lovingly maintained, featuring hand-scraped oak hardwood floors, a fully equipped and updated kitchen, and roses and wisteria twining along the fence.

The home is just a few minutes’ walk to the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, as well as a variety of restaurants on Pacific Grove’s Central Avenue. Downtown Pacific Grove is just a 5-minute car ride away, and 15 minutes to either charming Carmel-by-the-Sea or golfing and dining in Pebble Beach.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complimentary cheese and wine or sparkling cider, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear with everything you need for a day at the beach including chairs, blankets, towels, umbrella and cooler.

The house’s enclosed porch gives a perfect vantage point to enjoy views of Monterey Harbor and the bay, either by day or night, with the help of a high-quality telescope. The porch and entryway, living room and dining area flow together to make this an ideal gathering place for friends and family.

A sectional sofa and upholstered ottoman provide a cozy space around a 48-inch HDTV; the adjacent dining table seats six, and comfortable seating can be found throughout the enclosed porch and entryway.

The large kitchen on the other side of the dining room features gray painted cabinetry, quartz countertops, stone tile flooring, and new stainless steel appliances, including a five-burner gas stove and refrigerator.

The master bedroom features a queen bed, an HDTV and en suite bathroom, as well as access to an outdoor patio area. A view of the stars can be enjoyed from the bed to help you drift off to sweet dreams. The bathroom includes a large glass shower with quartz vanity top, custom tile work, and vintage-look faucet and light fixtures.

The second bedroom also offers a queen bed, and the third includes a desk area and a single bed with pop-up trundle that converts to a king. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo, quartz vanity top, custom tile work, and vintage-look faucet and light fixtures.

The home includes a stacked washer and dryer, and parking is available in the driveway with additional parking on the street.

"This house was nice and fairly comfortable ; however, ventilation was a problem since the days were quite warm. The windows that opened only did so outwardly with no screens. In the living area there were only 3 windows that opened although photos showed many more windows. Air circulation in the bedrooms was poor. Whenever we were in the house, we enjoyed the use of the kitchen. It was well stocked. The proximity of the home to the town was great as parts of the family walked down to the beach and also went shopping at the stores. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this house."

"Super clean and very livable property in a great location. The house was outfitted with everything one could want and everything was super clean and inviting. The location is a quiet residential street just a few blocks of some of the major streets, with some back roads options available as well. For a small family group of 6, it was perfect - quiet and peaceful. Management company was very efficient pre-stay...beyond that, I wouldn't know as we didn't need to contact them about anything. Overall a great stay at a wonderful property."

"Clean, Peaceful, Relaxing! This home was very welcoming inside upon arrival. Clean with nice simple touches to make our stay easy and enjoyable from that start. Everything had it's place and was comfortable. Our family of 4 (2 kids 11 & 9) worked just fine for the space given. We enjoyed our time walking the streets in the pretty little town of Pacific Grove . We really appreciated the period style homes, having coffee in downtown, grabbing a bite, etc. We also time spent in nearby Monterey on Cannery Row and at the Aquarium as well as Carmel-By-The Sea where we cruised the 17 Mile Drive and had lunch and dinner. My wife and I spent most of our time sitting by the front window with a beverage, staring at the sea and the morning deer that would walk up the street right in front of the house. It was a great stay!"

"Great Location !!Very comfortable home to stay at while touring the areas wineries and dining at the local restaurants. Beautiful view from the home of the bay and the ocean. Quiet neighborhood, good parking and a very clean and well kept home.  We were not disappointed at all and would recommend the home to others who like staying somewhere other than all the hotels in town. Property was clean, maintained and had a nice layout. Yes I would recommend this property to friends or relatives. Spent several days touring the wineries and buying wines to take back with us. Love Montrio Bistro and would highly recommend having dinner there at least once - more if you can get a reservation !!"

"PERFECTION! This is by far the most beautiful, clean, well stocked amazing rental property we have ever rented. The VIEW was beautiful. It's located on a quiet street of lovely houses - there were deer sighted on every walk we took. So much to do in the area...bike riding, beach, walking, hiking, aquarium, amazing restaurants. We slept like babies and were so sad to leave. Important - this place is CLEAN! We are super picky and we couldn't believe how clean and spotless it was. We will be back - best, most relaxing vacation ever!"
