Ask our Reservationists about two days for the price of one admission tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium when you book this home!

Park your car in the garage of this colorful Victorian, and walk to every Pacific Grove attraction from this ideal location right in the heart of town. Dining, shopping, the beach and the Monterey Recreational Trail are just steps away.

Built in 1916, the home was recently renovated to offer modern conveniences along with vintage charm. Views of the Monterey Bay from its second and third floor bedrooms are fabulous and enhance the experience.

Exquisitely decorated with antique furniture and accessories, it’s like a trip to Pacific Grove’s past, from the old-fashioned front porch to the stained-glass windows.

The home is on a quiet lane, that runs parallel to the town’s main street. Close to Caledonia Park and three blocks from Lovers Point, it also has a back patio that is partially fenced for privacy.

The home is within walking distance of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, and just a few blocks from the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail, a popular place for cycling and walking. Also close by are the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach®. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary cheese and wine or sparkling cider, wine tasting passes and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, as well as spa robes, and beach gear with everything you need for a day at the beach, including chairs, blankets, towels, umbrella and cooler.

Guests enter the home via a short flight of stairs to the porch, where the front door opens into the cozy living room, with comfortable seating around an electric fireplace and hand-scraped hardwood floors. It’s a perfect spot to watch the 42-inch HDTV and enjoy conversation or a good book. Adjacent to the living room is an antique wooden dining room table with seating for 6.

Beyond the dining area is a fully-equipped kitchen with a vintage wooden telephone and a stained-glass window. Kitchen has a four-burner Jenn-Air gas stove, a deep double sink, custom tile floor and backsplash, and solid-surface countertops. Around the corner is a stacked washer and dryer, next to a hallway bath featuring a vintage clawfoot bathtub with shower, an old-fashioned wooden toilet tank and marble-topped vanity.

A curved staircase leads to the second floor, where there are two bedrooms with queen beds with Sleep Number mattresses, each with authentic antique furnishings and light fixtures. One bedroom has an iron bedstead while the other has a beautifully carved wooden headboard as well as ocean views from the window. The bay can be seen even more clearly from the second-story deck with cast-iron patio seating.

The bedrooms share a bath with an antique vanity with a hammered metal sink as well as a shower with an over-sized shower head, custom tile work and glass door. A vintage ceramic toilet tank completes the décor.

A stairway from the second floor leads up to a third-floor loft bedroom that’s ideal for children. It has a day bed with a Sleep Number mattress, as well as an additional single bed, and ocean views from a slanted window.

The back yard has artificial turf, BBQ grill and patio seating. Parking for a small car in the one-car garage and another small parking space in the driveway.

This home was exactly as shown in pictures and as described. The best thing about this home is the pride the management company has taken on every little detail. From the welcoming thank you note, to the notes on household directions, to the lavender soaps throughout the home. The home has plenty of laundry, hand soap and lotion, including shampoo and conditioner for your entire stay. The location of this home is superb. It’s centrally located to amazing restaurants and walking distance to the ocean. Two amazing restaurants is Passion Fish and Red House. We travel the world and those two restaurants we exquisite. The neighbors on all sides of the home were welcoming and helpful on recommendations. The yard is perfect for a small dog, but note there is an opening on the side of the home where your dog can get out. The homes is situated inside a small alleyway, so there isn’t much traffic at all. The bedding was comfortable, but we felt the beds weren’t super comfy. Although they say they are a sleep number bed we couldn’t get the remotes to work and they were lopsided. But we adjusted after a few nights. The driveway is small, our friends Audi fit, but nothing larger. The garage is a nice space for a small vehicle. We enjoyed our stay in this quaint historic home.

My family of 5 heartily enjoyed our stay. We cooked our whole Thanksgiving feast in the kitchen, which was well-equipped. The home was renovated, but kept Victorian charm. Parking for 2 cars was doable, but further guests would find parking a challenge, so heads up!
We would be happy to stay here again!

This was a fantastic stay. I surprised my mom with this beautiful home for our 3 day stay in Pacific Grove. It was close to everything we needed - dining, grocery, and the beach! We loved the antique style.

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Lavender House. It is a very cute victorian house inside and out. The property was well maintained, clean and well appointed. The location can't be beat for visiting the Monterey peninsula. Just a couple blocks from Lover's Point and the path that you can walk in one direction to Asilomar and in the other, all the way to the wharf and beyond. Also just a short walk to Lighthouse and some of the area's best restaurants, and fun little shops. Would definitely go back."

"This house was full of character and detail. It is small dog friendly and in a great location and walking distance to most places so that’s why we chose it, but we were a bit worried about the size. However there was great use of space and a fun 3rd floor/attic for the kids. The house itself was incredibly clean, nicely appointed, even had a sleep numbers bed, had everything we needed. Perfect for an extended getaway."
