Overall Comment
Loved the ever-changing view of Monterey Bay, loved the walks to the Aquarium, loved walking to downtown Pacific Grove, loved the promenade along the path to Lovers Point. We also found the house to be comfortable, well appointed, obviously lovingly cared for by the owners and respectfully cared for by tenants. The first growth redwood paneling, gigantic windows, and fireplace distinguished the house itself.

Wonderful Monterey Peninsula Retreat

Overall Comment
My partner and I both loved our time in this home. So did our dog! The view of the bay wraps around the living / dining areas. The primary suite feels like a garden retreat, the sizeable windows framing gorgeous outdoor planting. Kitchen is really fun to cook in, and to sit for coffee or chat in. On top of this, the rear terrace is really like a lovely stone paved retreat, with an impeccably maintained garden. We worked during our stay, and wifi was very strong, neighborhood peaceful. I’d easily stay here again.

The home was very nice and clean upon our arrival. The staff at Sanctuary Rentals were very nice! The view to this place is beautiful. Every morning we enjoyed sitting in the dining room and looking out onto the ocean. The location was very convenient and walkable to main street in Pacific Grove. It was a great choice for sure. Our family had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Very Nice Home, Comfortable Furnishings & Views!

My friends and I went for a golfing outing, staying at this house. The furnishings were much better than average, good kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils, nice washer/dryer, BBQ, wonderful garden area in front and back. The place was spotless. I would have given it 4.5 stars, but not an option. I would've loved to play the piano there, but it is understandably not possible. We had two cars, and no problem parking in front of the home. Not crazy about some of the additional costs, but such is life. I would stay there again.

Could Not Have Been More Lovely!

What a beautiful home!! The view was just amazing, and the natural lighting so lovely. The garden in the back and all the flowers by the entrance were lovely. The location was fantastic, just a few blocks to both the Aquarium, and the shore walk. We could not imagine a better place to stay in Monterrey!!

We (family of 4 with a toddler and our dog) stayed at this excellent location (15 mins walk from Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium). The view from the living room is spectacular to wake up to every morning. The house was very well maintained and equipped with everything we needed with detailed instructions. The best part of the deal was that it was super pet friendly :) We had a beautiful stay and will definitely be back again !

My children and I came to enjoy Monterey - and absolutely loved the home! We loved waking to see that view!! Loved watching the sea creatures playing thru the telescope provided in the home, watching the fisherman out in the bay... The beds were comfortable, linens well supplied, the neighborhood quiet and safe. Conveniently located to all we planned for our stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

What a fantastically beautiful home and neighborhood. We were only two couples so there was more than enough room for us to enjoy the space. The views from the living room and dining room are spectacular. Mother Nature delivered perfect weather for the weekend which certainly enhanced our experience. We could walk down to the bike path for a run or walk and we really enjoyed walking into downtown PG which has really come alive in the past few years. We hope to come back again soon!

How good can it get- sitting around the table with family and watching whales spouting. Hiking,biking, running every day. Lots of room to read, relax, talk, play music, play games. We will do it again.

Our two adult sons and their families joined us for a weekend break in Pacific Grove. The view from the front windows of the Monterey Bay was spectacular. We even saw migrating whales spouting from the front deck. The home is beautifully decorated in seaside motif. Wonderful from beginning to end.
