Walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium from this outstanding location. Ask our Reservationists about two days for the price of one admission tickets when you book this home!

With beautiful ocean views and the beach just steps from the front door, this Pacific Grove home is truly a bay lover’s dream come true.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage is a few minutes’ walk from the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail and Andy Jacobson Park, and is within easy walking distance of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row as well as a variety of restaurants on Pacific Grove’s Central Avenue. Downtown Pacific Grove is just a 5-minute car ride away, and 15 minutes to either charming Carmel-by-the-Sea or golfing and dining in Pebble Beach.

The flower-covered home, originally built in 1925, has been enlarged and updated to create light-filled rooms that mix colorful vintage and contemporary furnishings. Hardwood bamboo floors throughout the main level unify the open floor plan that includes a kitchen, living room and dining area.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complimentary cheese and wine or sparkling cider, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear with everything you need for a day at the beach including chairs, blankets, towels, umbrella and cooler.

Original artwork, large windows and skylights give a bright, casual ambiance to the home, where a cozy living rooms offers comfortable leather furniture, a gas fireplace with tile surround, and a 48-inch HDTV, the perfect place for the family to hang out, talk, or play games.

The pet-friendly home also features an outdoor patio surrounded by a vine-covered wooden fence for privacy, with outdoor seating and a gourmet gas grill to make afternoon barbecues a snap. Geraniums, bougainvillea and lavender can be found in the outdoor spaces.

The kitchen features granite countertops, a double oven, gas stovetop, custom tile backsplash, and double sink. Counter seating is available for two as well as vintage diner-style table with six seats, which is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the patio.

A staircase leads to the loft-style master bedroom suite, which has views of the Monterey Bay through large west-facing windows. The carpeted room features a private balcony with seating for two, built-in bookcases filled with books on local history and nature, as well as a king bed, HDTV, large closets, and original artwork. A deep jetted tub, custom tile and a hand-painted sink can be found in the en suite bath.

A guest bedroom on the lower level features a queen bed and comfortable recliner. The adjacent bathroom includes a pedestal sink and a glass shower.

The home includes a stacked washer and dryer, and parking is available on the street.

Beautifully decorated with a quirky sense of fun, it is thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for a relaxed family vacation. "Wonderful House by the Water!  The house was well cleaned, and exactly as advertised, and we had a wonderful weekend. I've rented from them in the past and had the same experience, I'll definitely use them in the future.  We really liked the location of this unit. We have a 15 month old and it was super easy to walk to our favorite restaurant in Pacific Grove (Peppers!) and also we were extremely close to the aquarium and Cannery Row.  The listing mentioned that there's only on street parking and it can fill up, but we parked when we arrived and the street was completely empty. It filled up during the weekend but we were so close to everything that we just walked around on those days."

"Great Location!  Very nice accommodations and setup. Convenient location with quick access to ocean trail and access to all in Pacific Grove & Monterey. Kitchen had all utensils and servingware needed for great meals prepared in-house. Only suggestion would be to provide a fan as the upstairs bedroom was quite warm in the evening regardless of AC setting. That said it was very warm in Monterey that weekend (into 90s during day) so an unfair factor to overall temperatures. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!!"

"Perfect Pelican! This darling place in Pacific Grove is in a wonderful location for many of the tourist destinations you may be after....the Monterey Aquarium (walking distance), the beach (super close...paved paths in both directions), Carmel, and Cannery Row. The house is fun and funky. A mix of new, retro and unique. The Pelican Peaks home is very clean and well maintained. Quiet neighborhood and parking was easy to obtain in front of the house. All of this comes together in such a fun way. The home away from home has everything you would need to cook your own meals, enjoy some quiet down time and sleep very comfortably. The communication from the property manager was seamless from booking until the moment we walked in the door!"
