A family-friendly home with room for everyone to stretch out and enjoy some peace and quiet can be found within walking distance of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and all of the shopping, dining and other attractions for which it’s known.

With multiple sleeping options and a fenced back yard that’s perfect for the family dog, the 3-bedroom, 2-bath two-story home features a large living room with a gas fireplace, easy-care vinyl plank floors throughout, and a relaxed ambiance.

The house is just a few blocks from the beach and other attractions. It’s also only 10 minutes by car to the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach, to monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.

The 2,100-square-foot residence also features a formal dining room and breakfast nook, a Cal King bed in both the upstairs and downstairs suites, and washer and dryer off the kitchen. An eclectic blend of vintage furniture, comfortable seating and beach cottage décor can be found within, with outdoor patio seating and a gourmet gas grill available for afternoon barbecues.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary cheese and wine or sparkling cider, wine tasting passes and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, as well as spa robes (upon request).

The brick-and-wood home features succulents and live oak trees in the front yard, as well as a covered parking space for low-profile vehicles and a driveway for off street parking. The front door leads to an entryway adjacent to the dining room, which has a traditional-style wooden table with room for seven.

The nearby kitchen features white tile counter-tops, a gas range with five burners, and a breakfast nook that seats four, a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. A second entryway can be found at the end of the kitchen, and an updated washer and dryer are conveniently located behind bi-fold doors.

Further down the hallway is the living room, which has comfortable leather couches and upholstered furniture centered around a gas fireplace, a perfect place to hang out and watch the 52-inch HDTV, play games or have conversations. A double French door from the living room leads to the fully enclosed back yard.

On the other side of the hallway is the first of two master suites in the home. It features a Cal King bed with a floral coverlet, with a matching curtain on the window above, with nightstands and reading lamps on either side of the bed. A Jack-and-Jill bathroom can be accessed either from the bedroom or the hallway, with a tub/shower combo and adjustable-height showerhead.

Upstairs, the second master suite offers a king bed with vintage headboard, large closet, spacious dresser for storing items, and a stand-alone dressing mirror. A large alcove can accommodate a twin rollaway bed for an extra sleeping option (stored at the house and can be set if requested at booking). A Jack-and-Jill bathroom can be accessed either from the bedroom or the hallway, with a shower and adjustable-height showerhead.

Another upstairs bedroom has three single beds, all featuring antique bedsteads, and a student desk and chair.

In addition to the one covered vehicle space in front, parking for several cars is available on the street. Owners allow one dog, 40 pounds or less, during the stay.
