We had a siblings weekend.. 5 of us. We did activities from Carmel to Monterrey. Great central location. Nice places to eat near by.i would only mention that the rental company requests no shoes in the house, so bring some slippers as it’s all LVT and the floors and especially the steps are very slippery!

Four sixty something friends from college got together from all over CA in Point Break for our 3-4 year reunion and we had a lovely time. The house is very well appointed, excellent location, lots of good conversation areas. We stayed three nights and the only very small recommendation would be to add some oven mitts/pot holders -- there may have been some but we couldn't find them lol. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 6, ages 4-79, thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home. It’s beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The fire pit on the outside deck was the perfect spot for wine and conversation. The house is in a great location (walked to dinner the first night) and you can see the ocean from the front windows! We would definitely recommend this place.

This house was a perfect place to spend my 50th birthday with dear friends. Pacific Grove is a great beach town and the house is an easy walk to everything. We loved the fireplaces in the master bedroom and living room - easy to use. Super comfy beds and a great kitchen with everything you need. We would 100% stay here again.

Just steps from the shoreline and trail along the coast, Point Break was well appointed for our family. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well-stocked, and our kids enjoyed the games that were available. We went for many walks along the shore - saw dolphins, otters, harbor seals and many birds - and enjoyed tide-pooling during low tide. Steps to Lighthouse Ave with its many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops and close to Carmel. Part of our group took a day trip to Pinnacles National Park. Pacific Grove is a wonderful town - fun to look at all of the old early 20th c. homes in the neighborhood. We definitely recommend this property and location!

The house was in a magnificent location-close to the beach, restaurants and walking trails. The kitchen was well stocked-which isn’t always trued with rentals. The bedrooms were nice-comfy beds. Sanctuary rentals were helpful in making sure everything went smoothly. The carpets were a little grungy but I am sure it is due to all the foot traffic. The yard does look bigger on the photos then it actually is but the fire table was nice to sit around.

Comfortable with high end touches! We can't wait to come back to this amazing home. It is in a perfect location - walking distance to the water and town - and super close to the aquarium & Cannery Row. Wonderful shops and cafes just a short walk up the block. The home itself was perfect for our small family, but we could see it would be a perfect place for 3 couples since each room has a king size bed. The master bedroom is amazing - fireplace, desk area, sitting area and super comfy bed. We were welcomed with wine, cheese & crackers & the management company checked in on the first day to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend this place - I've already recommended it to several friends.

We spent a week in the Point Break house and had a fantastic time. As they say, location, location, location. Walk out the door, turn right, Lovers Point. Turn left, Lighthouse Ave with the restaurants, cafes, shops. The night of arrival, the propane tank for the fire pit was empty. A quick phone call and a replacement tank was delivered the next day. The upstairs hallway bathtub was clogged and not draining. The kitchen faucet had a leak. Both of these required a plumber, who arrived within 48 hours to address both issues. Sanctuary mgmt provided a $400 rebate, which was greatly appreciated. The house was immaculate, kitchen well stocked, mgmt very responsive to the reported issues. Would stay here again.

My family of 4 and my mother stayed at this home in April. It was a beautiful home located right across from the beach. Because this home was on a side street, we did not have to hear the noise or face traffic getting in and out of our driveway. This was ideal. The home itself was thought out so well, down the the nightlights that were around the home at night. There were 3 large bedrooms on the top floor, each with a king bed, in addition to 3 bathrooms. We will definitely book this home again!

Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration Location

Point Break is a delightful, comfortable, luxurious property. The king beds were so comfortable and the rooms all well-appointed and spacious. You're close to Carmel and Monterey by car and walking to the Rec Trail and PG town were a breeze. The Farmer's market is 2 blocks away. Pavel's is a must for morning pastries. There is no shortage of wonderful restaurants to enjoy and the Grove Market is well stocked if you prepare meals at home. Trader Joe's and Safeway are up the road. You could, conceivably, never get in your car after arrival and be very happily ensconced. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a 20 minute walk. The Natural History Museum is about 2 minutes. Bookworks is a must stop bookstore and the attached coffee house is recommended. A delightful selection of shops are nearby from estate jewelry (Sun Studios/Jeffrey Collection), vintage clothing, semi-precious stones, local artwork to a wonderful women's wear shop (Victorius). There are golf courses galore and bikes or Stand Up Paddleboards to rent at Lover's Point if walking the trail or shopping aren't enough adventure or exercise for you.
Having the garage and driveway were key as you always had a parking spot waiting.
The BBQ worked great and the outside seating area is inviting. HIGHLY recommended.

My husband, 2 children (2yr, 9mo), and I stayed here and had a wonderful time! The house was clean, comfortable and beautiful. It was in a safe location for the kids and in walking distance to a family friendly beach and nature park. We visited the aquarium, played at the beach and ate at a local Mexican and Italian restaurant. We also used to rent some baby equipment we didn’t have room to pack. Great experience all around. The house is one of the most well-appointed vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. There are the "big" things- beautiful updates throughout, super clean, nice welcome by Sanctuary, and the 'little things'- sharp knives, tupperware, a gold filter on the coffee maker, and very nice dish ware and pans! We loved it. Charming neighborhood, great walking access to Lover's Point and downtown. We had one hiccup with a stripped shower handle that cost us a morning with handymen, but if that had been avoided by their maintenance team, it would have been 5 stars!!
