This freshly-remodeled and -furnished 1,000 sf home awaits your arrival. Full of artful touches and appointed with thoughtful extras, Ocean Stroll is sure to become a repeat-guest favorite.

Fantastic location just a couple of blocks away from the heart of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Easy walking to all the shops and restaurants, even a weekly farmers market. Walk straight down Ocean Avenue and reach a large sandy beach.

It's an easy drive to other Monterey area attractions from the Aquarium and Cannery Row or world-class golf experiences in Pebble Beach and hiking trails in Point Lobos State Reserve or Big Sur.

Enter the wooden gate into an enclosed courtyard garden bordered by a stone wall and shrubs.
Several steps up to the front door entry lead you into the home which is all one level.
A cheerful yellow Dutch door welcomes you inside.

Wood floors throughout and stone accents add a touch of old-world style. Colorful accessories and lofty ceilings lift the spirits.

Living Space:
The spacious living room offers all the comforts of home and is a wonderful place to gather.
The fireplace is decorative only (no wood burning) and battery-operated candles inside provide a nice glow.
A comfortable sofa and armchairs are situated perfectly for conversation, games or TV viewing (Comcast XFinity Streaming Service).
A writing desk and desk chair are tucked into the corner in front of a window.
Step out the French doors to the deck with a teak dining set and umbrella, a perfect place to enjoy a meal and filtered ocean views.

Kitchen and Dining
Between the living room and kitchen there is casual counter seating with four stools.
The fully-equipped updated kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home but when you want to take the night off, there is no end to the choices for world-class dining just a stroll away. Stainless steel appliances, solid countertops and tile backsplash adorn the kitchen. Convenient Keurig single-cup and drip style coffee makers are on hand for your morning brew . Enjoy a peek of the ocean from the window over the kitchen sink.
A propane BBQ grill is provided in the front courtyard patio area.
An intimate dining table that seats 4 is adjacent to the kitchen.

The laundry room is located off the kitchen. A full-size stacking washer and dryer are on hand for your convenience.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 has a king bed with wooden headboard, TV and an en suite bathroom with a custom travertine-tiled shower. This bedroom has direct access to the front patio area.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed with quality bedding in soothing colors of the sea.
Bedroom #3 has two twin beds and subtle nautical elements.
The hallway bathroom has a shower with richly toned tile.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with Homeowner's advance pre-approval on a case-by-case basis, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum. The yard is fully fenced but keep in mind that on one side the stone wall/fence is only a few feet in height.

The home is located on a small cul-de-sac shared with only a few other homes. Parking is limited but the single car garage can park one small, low-profile vehicle and there is parking directly in front of the home is available for 2 vehicles.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.

Overall Comment

Great location. Was not bothered by traffic on Ocean Avenue as the property has great quality new windows. Very open and bright. We often walked towards 6th Avenue when traffic was busy on weekends to cross Ocean Avenue. Fully stocked kitchen with lots of dishes, pots and pans and even some extra spices. Main TV is small. Would definitely stay again
