Living Space
From the front covered porch, enter into the quaint living room with wood floors, high open beam ceilings with custom woodworking and wrap-around book shelf filled with a library of books. Ample plush seating is arranged near the gas log brick fireplace and TV with DVD player. A charming window seat is perfect for reading or gazing into the garden and day dreaming. The corner table with armchairs for two beckons you to enjoy a cup of tea or a game of chess.
Kitchen and Dining
The old world charm runs right through to the kitchen with the cobblestone floors, Saltillo tile countertops, a unique round sink and exposed ceiling beams, but the chef in your party will be delighted with the modern conveniences and high end appliances like the 4-burner Wolf range (with griddle), the Bosch dishwasher and the side by side paneled refrigerator.
The cobblestone floors extend into the dining niche which sits next to French doors that lead to a balcony deck looking out over the back yard and garden area. The wooden dining table seats 4 and on fair days you might like to step out into the garden where there is a table and four chairs, ideal for al fresco dining.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Downstairs near the living area:
Bedroom #1 has a king bed, walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with pedestal sink, shower-over-vintage-tub combination with a clear glass door and tile with a botanical motif.
Upstairs:
Bedroom #2 is located upstairs and is accessed by a flight of exterior wooden stairs (no interior entrance) making it feel a bit like a private treehouse retreat. Listen to the ocean and enjoy the filtered ocean views from this upstairs bedroom with white washed walls, a king bed, bookshelves, separate wall heater, and en suite bathroom with a tiled step-in shower with a clear glass door.
The stacked washer and dryer are located in a closet off the dining area.
Ample parking on the long paver-covered driveway for 2-3 cars. The garage is not available for guest parking but may be used for storage of bikes, golf clubs, etc.
