This second-story home is two blocks from Carmel’s famous art galleries, boutiques and fine dining along Ocean Avenue, and just three blocks from Carmel Beach. The multi-award-winning restaurant, Aubergine, is right across the street and Doris Day’s famous Cypress Inn is just two blocks away.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bath home is just 10 minutes by car to golf and shopping in Pebble Beach®, seeing the vintage Victorian homes and Monarch butterflies of Pacific Grove, and experiencing historic Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Views of the ocean and Point Lobos through the trees can be seen from the sunroom and dining area, as well as the kitchen and large windows letting in abundant light to the 995-square-foot residence. The sophisticated décor with coastal accents has a color palette of oceanic blues, bright whites and driftwood color scheme predominating, complemented by dark hardwood floors, plush rugs and artwork reflecting the beauty of the Monterey Bay.

Built in 2017, the energy-efficient windows and a radiant heating temperature system keeps this home cozy all year round. A modern gas fireplace provides a focal point for the living room, where a sectional sofa provides a perfect spot for relaxing or watching the 55-inch HDTV.

An outdoor dining area greets guests at the entrance to the flat, which is accessed by a private stairway and has ocean views perfect for happy hour time or morning coffee.

The flat includes a sun room filled with wall-to-wall windows and French doors, with a Serena & Lily Avalon daybed, perfect for naps, daydreams, and lazy afternoons. This daybed provides an additional sleeping option for one person, and a small table and chairs next to the west-facing windows is perfect for breakfast, sunsets or writing. Information on local sights and history that can be found on adjacent bookshelves.

The dining area has a beautiful designer table with seating for six and three swivel bar seats at the adjacent kitchen counter. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a Jenn-Air convection oven, a Keurig coffee maker, white subway tile, quartz composite counters and a deep sink with pull-out faucet. A white sideboard with a large collection of glassware is ideal for entertaining needs.

Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, a TV and an en suite bath has a tub/shower combo and custom stone tile.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a TV.
Both bedrooms have high quality linens.
The hallway bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower and hexagonal floor tiles.
A twin daybed in the sun room provides another sleeping option.

A convenient laundry area in the hallway has a stacked Bosch washer and dryer, and a back staircase leads to a fully fenced-in garden area with a bench and gas grill.

Parking for one vehicle is available in the driveway.

Well-behaved small, quiet dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
