House was in a great location wash walk to beach and town. Dog friendly, lovely gardens and fun back yard. Does need some fresh paint. Had a great month in Carmel by the sea.

amazing stay in carmel!
Overall Comment
Very cozy and pleasant stay in Carmel - we will be back next summer! The house was perfectly located a 10/10 - 10 min walk to town, 10 min walk to the beach. The yard was lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The house is appointed well, however in the photos there showed a desk in the bedroom and this was not present so my husband worked in the kitchen which was not the most ideal. The only improvement would be the bed as they are not very comfortable. Sanctuary should consider buying mattress toppers for all of them. I would still highly recommend this house- it was perfect for our stay and we were very happy.

beautiful carmel
Overall Comment
Time in Carmel was perfect. We did some sightseeing mostly lots of walks. We chose Carmel because close to UC Santa Cruz so our grandson didn’t have to make the trip to us.
One improvement would to add pillow to dinner room chairs. They sit very low.

perfect get-away for family or friends!
Serene and comfortable property, perfect get-away for family or friends. Amenities are fantastic and the jacuzzi was the perfect way to relax with a glass of wine. The home is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We've stayed here many times.

we loved our stay at enchanted forest!
We loved our stay at “The Enchanted Forest". The furniture and decor is all very welcoming and the spacious and well equipped kitchen is so appreciated.We enjoyed our mornings with a short walk downhill to Ocean Beach, walking on the sand and then enjoying breakfast in town. The hot tub was a an added treat. Looking forward to our next visit!!

beautiful home!
The house exterior and interior are in great shape and it is located in a peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and soaking in the hot tub. This beautiful home is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach with scenic views, unique boutiques, and charming restaurants. The house and its location make everything simple and allows you to enjoy your vacation. We enjoyed making dinner at the house and eating at the fabulous restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the wine walk where we tasted local wines and cuisine. My friends and I have visited this house several times and always leave feeling refreshed and looking forward to returning!

charming home in a perfect location!
This home is in the perfect location in Carmel-by-the-Sea. You can easily walk to the many shops and restaurants as well as the amazing beach. It has 3 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and cute decor. There are large windows that overlook the beautiful gardens. If you like to cook at home, it has a large open kitchen with a dining area and it is stocked with dishes and cookware. There is also a washer and dryer. Outside there is a large dining table to enjoy meals or coffee in the morning in addition to a large hot tub where you can relax with a glass of wine. I cannot say enough good things about this home! I would definitely stay here again.

great location / amazing getaway
We loved this location being walking distance from all the shops, restaurants and beach! Nice, spacious 3-bedroom place with lots of light and a very well equipped kitchen. Cute backyard outdoor space and hot tub. We will definitely be coming back!

this is a little slice of heaven!
This is a little slice of heaven. It's perfectly situated on a beautiful street and set back to give you privacy. The house was incredibly clean, bright, welcoming. Beds are really comfortable (a must on vacation!) The location really tops it off, it's walking distance to the beach and downtown. We took walks on the beach, went shopping and went to amazing restaurants. Can't wait to book another girls trip at this house!

sweet home!
To me, the best holidays allow me to slow down and live simply. That’s how it is in this sweet home. I loved being able to wake up in a cozy bed, and make a little coffee and a nibble in the kitchen before going for a cool, quiet morning walk into town to indulge in some delicious brunch with friends. Wandering and perusing through town is a pastime in and of itself in Carmel by the Sea. The accessibility by foot or bike to galleries, shopping and delicious food & drinks makes this location ideal for nearly anyone looking to visit the area. Being only blocks away from the beach is the icing on the cake! There is plenty of parking if you arrive by car (and loads of sightseeing, golf, spa, etc to do in that car along the stunning coastline), but the walk-ability offered here in this quaint neighborhood, flush with lush coastal gardens, is truly one of the dearest parts of staying in Carmel. I highly recommend this charming property for a family, couples, or a tight-knit group of friends. Can’t wait to go back!
