On a quiet street near the ocean, inside the exclusive Pebble Beach® community, you will find your special home-away-from home called "Cypress Rest".

It is our hope that you will find rest, relaxation and recreation at this fully-remodeled 2,171 sf, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home that sleeps up to 6 guests.

Cypress Rest may be rented on a short-term vacation basis, or for longer periods. Contact our friendly Reservations Agents directly to discuss your needs and all options.

Put your walking shoes on and stroll to the beach from this wonderful location. 17 Mile Drive® and Bird Rock vista point and Seal Rock Beach are just a few minutes away on foot and a walking trail stretches for miles in both directions. On many days you will hear the seals barking when you step out the front door of the house.

Bring the golf clubs and schedule your tee times in advance because you are heading to a golfer's paradise - situated between multiple courses like Spyglass, Spanish Bay, MPCC and famed Pebble Beach®, not to mention other area courses (Quail, Laguna Seca, Bayonette and Black Horse) that you and your golfing friends will enjoy.

While the golfers are on the links, the rest of the group will enjoy exploring nearby beaches, the natural wonders of Point Lobos State Reserve, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Historic Cannery Row and downtown Monterey. Foodies will enjoy exploring the restaurants of Carmel-by-the-Sea and other bordering coastal towns; convenient shopping is just outside the Pebble Beach® community gate in charming Pacific Grove.

Living Spaces
Vaulted ceilings in the living area are uplifting, and comfortable furniture around the fireplace will draw you in.
In addition to the living room, a separate family room with large sectional sofa and a wall-mounted flat screen TV (Streaming only. Cable is not available) is another space to gather, relax and play games.

Kitchen and Dining
The fully-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of storage and counter space and everything you need to whip up quick meals or more elaborate ones. A large countertop with stools provides a casual seating space that adjoins the living room and a dining table with seating for 6 is also adjacent to the kitchen in an open-concept style.

Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, TV and an en suite bathroom with shower.
Bedroom #2 has a split king bed with foam topper.
Bedroom #3 has a split king bed with foam topper.
The hall bathroom has a shower over tub combination and a vanity with two sinks.

The back yard is completely fenced. Outdoor seating around a fire pit is the perfect place to gather the family and make some special memories.
A propane BBQ grill is on hand for outdoor cooking.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
Dogs shouldn't be allowed on the furniture or beds. Dogs should not be left unattended anywhere on the property.

Parking for several cars is available in the driveway. The extra deep 2-car garage has an EV charger - bring your adapter and cable.

Short walk to beach

Overall Comment

Newly renovated and nicely appointed, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach (between Seal Rock and Bird Rock). Because of rough weather, we didn't get a chance to try the outdoor firepit, but we were able to play cornhole in the garage and watch movies on the 85" TV. The kitchen is especially well appointed, although we didn't cook. Some nice touches also - bidet seat, Nikon Monarch binoculars, collection of art books. The house is pet-friendly, which is great, but the previous renters left 2 piles of dog poop in the yard. And of course, the posted price was increased by 84% by the fees and taxes.

This is a very well maintained and managed vacation rental in a great location at Pebble Beach. The house has a great layout and yard, and is well appointed with tech enhancements while being comfortable and convenient to the surrounding areas . Sanctuary was very easy to work with from the reservation process to addressing issues and questions promptly. This house will definitely be at the top of the list for our next visit!

The house was wonderful. Well equipped and everything was in great condition. Fenced-in back yard was very nice and ideal for a dog. Great location, just off the most interesting parts of 17 Mile Drive. Easy to pass through the toll gate with the pass that is provided.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house shows well in photos, but looks even better in person. Cypress Rest is a beautiful yet comfortable home. It is located on a street filled with beautiful homes and is less than 1/2 a mile to the beach which we loved. My family and I were also impressed with the property management team at Sanctuary Vacation Rentals. They knew we were arriving late and took the extra time to leave the lights on making entry easy to navigate. We appreciated their call and text checking to make sure everything was okay, and we love that they care about the neighborhood by providing us with neighborhood expectations. We would love to rent any home managed by Sanctuary Vacation Rentals.

Cypress Rest is fantastic property, great location and very clean. The kitchen is great, huge fridge. It is walking distance to the beach and ocean. The only slight negative was a queen sized bed in the main bedroom which is large enough to have a king!

Great place in a great location. Just steps away from the ocean for beautiful morning or evening walks. Close drives to great restaurants in Carmel and Pacific Grove, and very convenient to Monterey. Location is great, house is lovely. Do watch that the beds are 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twins. That's not what was listed when we rented, so just be aware. Three couples might find the 3rd bedroom set up strange. But other than that, lovely and as described. :)

The family loved staying at this beautiful house. 15 minute walk from bird rock and the beach. So close you can hear the sea lions if you sit on the porch in the evening. Cannery Row and the aquarium are a 20 minute drive. Comfortable and well-equipped property. Was surprised to find a nice coffee grinder in the kitchen, next time I won't have to bring my own. Maybe better for early risers rather than night owls since one of the many skylights is in the master bedroom. We will definitely book this property again the next time we visit Monterey!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our 4 days in Pebble Beach. The home is in a good location for walking & beachcombing. Home was in good shape and clean. Because the June gloom had set in we spent alot of time in front of the fireplace, great for talking and reconnecting. We had little contact with management but want to applaud them for finding places outside of Pacific Grove. P.G. homes are not welcoming to large families who need just a couple of days respite. This home allowed us to spread out and yet gather together comfortably.
