Upon arrival through custom wrought-iron gates, you are greeted with a lush landscape full of citrus and maple trees, rose gardens and a sprawling lawn that frames spectacular views of the Santa Lucia Mountain range, Carmel Bay, Point Lobos and beyond.
A combination of privacy, views and close proximity to downtown Carmel makes this property a rare find. The backyard hot tub inside an enclosure is the cherry on top of this special home.
Living Spaces
Privately sited on a gently sloping lot near the end of a quiet road, this beautiful 2,740 sf, Mediterranean-style 3 bedroom, 3 bath home captures the essence of the Carmel Views lifestyle, with ocean views from multiple rooms. The grand entrance is flooded with light and offers a glimpse of the central spiral staircase which is a handsome feature of the home. Saltillo tile graces the entry, the kitchen and dining area.
The living room has plush carpet, a large stone surround gas fireplace and ocean views. Neutral-toned furniture contributes to feelings of serenity while pops of color from eclectic art throughout the house adds interest, energy and whimsy. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Downstairs, the family room has a sectional sofa, decorative candle-lit fireplace and a large TV with cable, an office nook with desk and direct access to the back covered patio and the nearby hot tub.
The stunning garden provides beautiful vistas from inside the home. The hot tub is in a gazebo-like enclosure and can be enjoyed year-round. A small artful tree house-style playhouse adorns the front yard and sparks the imagination. The yard is fully fenced.
Kitchen and Dining
Enjoy sunrises from a sun-soaked kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook. The kitchen features an abundance of counter space, a large central island, double wall ovens, Thermador induction cooktop, Bosch refrigerator and small appliances aplenty to cater to the chef in you. Lofty ceilings and tiled countertops and plenty of light make this a pleasant space to spend time; the adjacent light-filled breakfast nook is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the view.
Step outside onto the upper deck and enjoy meals al fresco at the dining table in view of Point Lobos and the Pacific. The home has more outdoor furniture on the upper deck and lower patio as well as a table top fire pit and a gas BBQ grill.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
All bedrooms have carpet, TVs and large closets.
On the upper/main level:
Bedroom #1 - King bed, TV (streaming, no cable), seating area, desk, walk-in closet, en suite bathroom with a tiled step-down shower.
Bedroom #2 - King bed, TV (streaming, no cable), balcony access and an en suite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower.
Optional sleeping on this level is a twin day bed with a pull-out trundle located in the main living room, perfect for lounging by day or having a weekend guest or two.
On the lower level:
Bedroom #3 - Full/Double bed, Smart TV with Firestick (no cable), direct access into the hall bathroom on this level with a shower. This bedroom also has direct patio access which is close to the hot tub.
Two car garage and parking for 4 cars in the driveway inside the gate. The garage has a Tesla EV (electric vehicle) charger. Bring your own cord and adapter as needed.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.
